Morwenna and Richard’s Wedding | Tregedna Weddings

Marry at Tregedna just like Morwenna and Richard! This wonderful couple chose us as their wedding venue because we are a blank canvas, and we are more than happy to allow our couples to add lots of lovely personal touches to their day to create the perfect wedding day they had always planned.

We are happy for couples to choose all their preferred suppliers; Morwenna and Richard chose many great suppliers, including Kerra's Catering, who is also on our recommended list, and wedding photographer Steven Prebble who is also on the list!

Their day was relaxed and personal, a day that included all the memories they have shared together as a couple, including their love of Japan, their favourite holiday destination. Morwenna even made 1000 origami paper cranes ( a Japanese tradition that brings good luck ) as the backdrop for their ceremony. It looked so colourful!

On the day, Morwenna wore a beautiful dress ( can you believe the dress was ex-display? ), and she carried a beautiful bouquet she made herself from the flowers she bought from Clowance and on her feet? Flip flops!

After their ceremony, they were whisked away by wedding photographer Steven Prebble whom they had chosen because their day was informal and relaxed. Both knew he would really capture the feel of the day perfectly; his style is natural and relaxed, just what they wanted. Plus, he made them feel at ease.

Favourite part of the day

"My favourite part of the day was having the meal with friends and family. My husband's favourite part of the day was the same — good food shared with friends and family. We chose to have a BBQ provided by Kerra's Catering because we love the informal atmosphere of having a BBQ with friends and family. There were lots of lovely options to choose from and great side dishes and salads. All the guests told us they loved the food and said it was some of the best wedding food they'd had."

Top tips

"I was very nervous on the day and found it hard to relax, I know it's easier said than done, but my main advice to other couples would be just to try and enjoy it as much as you can."
