Jodie and Matt’s Wedding

Jodie and Matt had a lasting impression of Tregedna after catering a wedding with us in 2018, so when it came to choosing the perfect venue for their wedding day, they knew where to return. With Liz's help during Covid restrictions upon them, Jodie and Matt got their first glimpse of the newly-completed ceremony room - love at first sight! The icing on top was that Tregedna lay before them as a totally blank canvas – with endless possibilities awaiting personalization.

Wedding Photography

They found the perfect partner in pink wave photography to help make their dream wedding a reality - even with all of the Covid-related restrictions! All planning was done via zoom, and when the special day finally arrived, they just knew their planning had come together perfectly.

Jodie found her dream dress at the Bridal Studio in Helston

An exquisite piece with pearl detailing she adored. To complete it, a one-of-a-kind garter handcrafted and gifted by Kyla from Roamer Rose completed Jodie's bridal look, not to mention that Kyla also altered the wedding gown for perfection!

Matt was dashing in his custom-made Moss Bross suit, with the special detail of their wedding date stitched into it. His watch perfectly complemented Jodie's bridal accessories - its green face and pearl detailing tying together an incredible look!

Wedding Flowers

Jodie was a bride who gracefully embraced the idea of trusting in Cornish Flower Patch to make her special day bloom with bright, beautiful flowers. She trusted that they could provide what would be best for her; after all, they create stunning floral displays at their pub during the summer months.

"I'm so glad I did; my bouquet was beautiful."

Wedding Catering

Did we mention that Jodie and Matt catered for their own wedding?! They served their Goan curry - a staple favourite at the pub they own. To tantalize tastebuds further, there was an impressive grazing table featuring a Greet Cheese Company cheese wedding cake from Truro - yum! Guests with sweet cravings enjoyed delicious treats such as Mr Whippy's ice cream and a sweet table. Lastly, guests feasted upon pizzas fresh out of Jodie and Matt's pizza oven – nothing like homemade pizza to end an unforgettable day.

Favourite part of the day for Jodie

"My favourite part of the day was after our first dance. I looked around and saw all those we loved enjoying my favourite band, Rudi's Message, playing."

Advice for other couples

"It may seem stressful to DIY; we did love the idea, but perhaps if I had any advice, it would be to get a company to do the décor and don't do everything yourself!"
